This month I had a blast getting to work on some video projects for Sarah’s Covenant Homes. I came on the Race wanting chances to improve my photography and videography skills, and Jesus gave me a gift this month in allowing me to work on taking photos of the kids and making 3 videos for SCH with my teammate Maggie. It was a lot of work, but so much fun! Despite feeling overwhelmed for much of the month, I absolutely fell in love with all of these children and loved getting to capture their sweet personalities. I started out feeling sad for them because they have disabilities and live in foster homes, but the joy on their faces each day filled me with joy. These kids stole my heart, and I miss them so much already, but I have a feeling that I’ll be back to visit.
