1 month until the beginning of launch.
1 month until I get to start this amazing journey God has called me to.
1 month until I leave my friends and family for 9 months, to further the Kingdom of God.
1 month until I am reunited with my new brothers and sisters in Christ.
It is crazy to think about. All the people I will get to meet, and the relationships that will be formed. The different things I may get to experience, the things God will be doing, it is overwhelming. All the support I have gotten, to get this far. The encouragement from so many different people. I have dreamed of something like this since I was 12 and that first mission trip to Nicaragua. Maybe a little differently but still the same. And it is all starting to happen.
I am not perfect, only He is. I am having to remember that through all my insecurities and thoughts that I am not good enough to do this. Remembering to keep the “Yes Lord” spirit and forget about the “but you do this..” or “you aren’t Christian enough”. What I have come to figure out is that you cannot put God in a box.(obviously) But if I am willing to be His hands and feet, He will be the one moving those hands and feet. He will be in control, not me.
