What could that mean?Well let me tell you.

It is multi-faceted in meaning.

g means God, generation, girl.

racers means racers.

g:racers means we are going to operate in

grace this next year.

This is my team name.

We went through a thorough process to find

a name that we could identify with as

individuals, as a team and would affirm our

identity in Christ.

Our verse is

Romans 12:3-8

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Don’t think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as eachof us has one body with many members,and these members do not all have the same function,so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophecy in accordance with your faith;if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Over the next year, we know that we want to live out this verse.

We want to be part of a community that supports one another through grace.

If we have any chance of making it this next year we are going to have to be

g:racers in our squad.

g:racers in our ministry.

g:racers in our minds.

g:racers in our hearts.

g:racers in our souls.
