It’s official: training camp is over and teams have been formed! I am so excited and honored to introduce you all to my team! So without further ado, world, meet 2nd generation U squad’s Team Relentless!

(L to R: Cabe, Allison, Kari, Adam, Hannah, Brian, and myself)
Brian Ledtke http://brianledtke.theworldrace.org/
Brian is our team leader. There is a quiet confidence about him that I just can’t explain. He creates a safe atmosphere by never being overpowering or intrusive, yet continues to push us towards Christ. He is an incredible man of God, with SUCH a servant’s heart. I’m not kidding. On my birthday he refused to let me carry my pack all day long even if it meant he had to carry two. Even through his leadership and his many Godly attributes though, Brian is just about as humble as they come. His trust in the Lord for direction, rather than himself, as he leads us makes me feel so safe and cared for. I am so excited to be sent out under his leadership and to serve beside him!
Cabe Stanford http://calebstanford.theworldrace.org/
Cabe is the kind of guy that makes you feel very safe and very loved. It is truly amazing to me how much he loves each of us, but not because of anything we did or didn’t do. His love for us stems from his love for the Lord. As soon as our teams were announced at training camp he wanted to know specifically how he could be praying for each of us, and assured us that he had been praying over our team for months. He also immediately started referring to the ladies of Team Relentless as “my girls”. His boldness and passion are going to be such an asset to our team and for ministry. I am so excited to serve alongside this brother.
Adam Parker http://adamparker.theworldrace.org/
I am beyond excited that Adam and I are on the same team! I am so inspired by his story and his vulnerability with telling it to others. His love for his brothers and sisters in Christ is also super evident. One of the first one on one conversations I ever had with Adam included him asking me my story and how God had been at work in my life. I admire his desire for deep community and relationships based around Christ. It is this love and passion for people that has made him our squad safety leader! But I can’t talk about Adam without mentioning how FUN he is! He is the life of the party. From teaching the squad new dances to jumping into waterfalls, Adam is sure to bring a good time with him wherever he goes.
Hannah Stambaugh http://hannahstambaugh.theworldrace.org/
I love Hannah’s warm spirit. She brings so much joy and peace with her wherever she goes. She is such a genuine person, and deeply cares for those around her. Hannah’s lightheartedness will definitely help us as a team to laugh at the little things and to appreciate what we’ve got. Her strength is also something I admire. Even through her extreme motion sickness, dear relationships at home, and a sister applying for a different WR route she is joining U squad on the field this September. Her obedience to the Lord’s calling is truly beautiful. I am so excited to serve with Hannah, laugh with her, and do life with her over the next 11 months!
Kari Williamson http://kariwilliamson.theworldrace.org/
Kari is wonderful. She is such a strong woman who loves the Lord SO much. Her sensitivity to the Spirit and to what God is trying to teach her is incredible. Her passion for the Lord and for Team Relentless makes me so joyful and excited to serve alongside her. A word that comes to my mind when I think of Kari is diligence. She wants to go above and beyond with creativity, community, and just about everything else. This is going to be so essential to our team during ministry. I know times will come when we may feel that the mission work we are doing is insignificant, but I can just see Kari’s response to that now. She won’t have it. I am so excited to be encouraged and challenged by this beautiful sister this year!
Allison Laverty http://allisonlaverty.theworldrace.org/
You know how even the thought of some people can bring a smile to your face? That’s Allison. She is such a peaceful person, that I can’t help but to feel at ease when I’m around her. She has such a sweet smile and demeanor. But Allison is so much more than sweet. She has a solid foundation in the Lord. So often at training camp when we as a team would go astray with conversation, direction, or literal directions Allison was there to guide us back. Her firmness in Christ and her boldness excite me to learn from her and with her during the next 11 months. Her attention to detail is vital, as small details can so often be overlooked. In fact, she is our logistics director and will be in charge of figuring out the details for our team! I am so blessed by Allison and so excited to serve with her!
