Write what you hear….

The Lord has called me to lead my generation into the
Promised Land. I’m not alone. He is rising up leaders in every nation to call
forth this generation so it may claim its inheritance as sons and daughters.

“Remember the days of old; consider the generations long
past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain
to you. When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance
, when he divided all mankind, he set up
boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel. For
the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance. Deuteronomy
32:7-9

We are His portion and we can stand firm on His promises. He
is a faithful God who is true to His Word. So the question I want to challenge
my generation with is, “Why aren’t you claiming what He is freely giving?â€  I echo the prayer the Apostle Paul had
for the Ephesians and speak it over my generation.

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be
enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the
riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great
power for us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19a

The Lord is calling forth this generation. May your heart
beat a little faster at the mention of His name. He is beckoning you, “Will you
trust me? Come away with me. He is calling forth a generation that will live
in reckless abandonment for His glory. The world won’t understand it. Dare I
say, fellow Christians won’t understand it either and will judge you for
it.  Their pride will be their
downfall.

But this is the hope you have. When you lay down your life
in total surrender. Saying “yes in the Spirit even when your flesh says “no
way. You inherit the Lord’s resurrection power.

“That power is like the working of His mighty strength,
which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at
His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power
and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age
but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1:19b-21

So what are you waiting for? What is holding you back? Fear?
Need for approval? Past mistakes? A hard heart? Criticism? Uncertainty? Not
having all the answers up front?

Whatever it is…lay it at His feet. Be yoked to Jesus. Don’t
look right. Don’t look left. Look up.

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all
the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the
left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the
Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be
careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and
successful. Joshua 1:7-8
