Recently, as you all know, I switched routes. It was a tough choice for me make, but one that had to be made. Shortly after this change, I spoke at my church about what I was gonna be doing in this next stage in life. It was the final part to a series we were doing called On A Mission. The whole month we talked about Paul and a lot of what he went though. I love the book of Acts, so I was thrilled when my pastors asked us to read it while we were going through the series! So I got out my Bible and started reading. I somehow had forgotten how good it was! Then I realized that I’ll be doing exactly what Paul did. Not only that, but on this route, I’ll be in Macedonia!!! So in the excitement, I looked at the map in the back of my Bible and looked at the map on my phone. Then I felt my heart sink a little. Macedonia of Paul’s day in Greece of our day. I was so excited about being able to go the same places Paul went but it didn’t look like it was gonna happen. Then a few days later I got an email from the World Race. It was Title Route Change. “No, God! I love this route the way it is!! This is the one You had set my heart on fire for! It’s prefect, I don’t want it to change!!!” Then I opened up the email. They changed it from Albania, Macedonia and Serbia to Bosnia, Albania and Greece!!! I literally sat there for five minutes straight at my desk with this big, cheesy silly grin on my face. I couldn’t believe it! I have always wanted to go there. And then finding out that Paul went there in current day maps made me want to go that much more! And God had made a way for it to happen!!! He knows the desires of our hearts more than we do! Because He is the one who put them in us!!! He will satisfy the desires He places within us! I was 100% sure that this was the route I was meant for before. But now, I’m 1,000% sure that this is the route He has for me!!! And part of it is the same route as Paul. I just want to encourage you to trust in God completely! He knows what He is doing ALL the time. And ALL the time, God is good!!!!
