Ever since I was young, my family has had connections to missions. My dad went on mission trips, one of my sisters went to Honduras and my other sister lived in Brazil for a while. From a young age I’ve always wanted to travel. I had a chance to go to Australia when I was eleven, but I couldn’t because we didn’t have the money to go. I wanted to travel the world, but I didn’t think I would ever really get the chance. But God has opened the door. Now nothing can stop me!
Two years ago this September, God saved me and start working on me. I had hit rock bottom and it didn’t seem like things were going to change or get better. But God had a plan for me. Just a little over a year ago that plan was revealed to me.
I was in Honduras with my dad’s church. On all accounts I shouldn’t have been there for multiple reasons. But God provided the way, the means and the path. While I was down there, I was told by a family friend of many year that I was going to tell my testimony at one of the churches. I was very nervous to do this so I started praying for God to give me the words to say. When the time came, everything flowed from my mouth like a fountain. I wasn’t afraid to be up in front of a bunch of people I didn’t know pouring my heart out. It just seemed natural.
God used my testimony to touch the lives of some of the people there. It was amazing to see how God could use the worst time in my life for His glory. Afterwards, an older lady came up to me and told me that this was just the beginning and that I would go around the world telling my testimony. Now, a year later, I’m seeing that prophecy being fulfilled. The power of God has no limits! With Him all things are possible!!! I can’t wait to see what God will do next!
