Hey there!

My name is Josh Schmutzer. I am 21 years old. I am originally from Lawrenceville, Ga. I currently live in Loganville, Ga and have since I was 12 years old. I love missions work, and I believe it is the call God has placed on my life.

First, let me start off by saying thank you for stopping by my page. I am so looking forward to the things God is going to do through me and in me, and I am glad you are interested as well. As I mentioned, my passion is missions. I long to see lives changed and to see this world changed for the better. From a very young age I have always wanted to help people in whatever way possible. I sincerely desire to enrich the lives of others around me. And, I desire to see God move in miraculous ways in the lives of people around the world.

Besides missions, I also have a passion for traveling and learning about different cultures around the world. I grew up in a very cultured neighborhood, which I believe really influenced my love of other cultures and a curiosity to know more about them. In my elementary school there were so many ethnicities represented around me including; Mexican, African American, Caribbean American, Bosnian, Romanian, and so much more. Of course as a kid I had no idea what kind of impact this would have on my view of the world, however; besides a God given passion for ministry and missions, I believe where I came from was the beginning of my curiosity of the world and the people in it.

In just the past two years I have been able to explore the world a little bit while being involved in a leadership and discipleship training program that incorporated missions work. I was blessed to live in Puerto Rico for three months and experience a beautiful culture and beautiful island. My team and I worked with a few organizations and churches on the island while there. We then went to Europe to work more hands on with churches. While there we visited and served in the countries of France, Luxembourg, Germany, and Spain. During the four and a half months there, God really laid it on my heart and placed a calling on my life to be a missionary and to also incorporate discipleship and leadership training as well.

Overall, in my life God has consistently moved in amazing ways. I am expecting Him to continue that as my journey continues on the World Race. I know He can do awesome things, and I desire to see those things come to fruition.
