John 14:12
“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
Lately God has been reminding me of this verse. “Greater things”. My heart cries out before the Lord, “Lord what greater things do you have in store if I were to just ask? If my squad were to ask, and better yet, if in unity we were to ask together?” My heart skips a beat at the thought… ‘could I ever taste the abundance that you have in store if I were to just ask? Are you really that intimate, that personal, that loving, that if I were to ask, Jordan Snellenberger, if we were to ask, the “L” squad, God would you do it?”
God spoke to my heart and said “I have a list of things, that no eye has seen and no ear has yet heard about, but if you will ask of me… ask for more.. I will pour out the “abundant life” that I hold in store for you… I DARE YOU TO DREAM, JORDAN I DARE YOU TO IMAGINE”
As God spoke this over my heart, I could see Him smiling… laughing with a look of mischief in his eye.. those eyes so filled with love…so much intimacy… what do those eyes see that I have yet to even imagine… would I accept the dare?
My heart immediately began to wonder, what more there could be… what have we, as God’s children, not even scratched the surfice of because somewhere deep inside we were scared to hope, and had to much pride to believe that there was more to this “abundant life” than we could even imagine.
Someone recently presented the question to me “What if you had no idea where you were you were going, and only knew the guide that was leading you.. would you trust HIM?” and then I see Jesus standing before me, with those eyes again, and that smile… his lips part and He says…. “Will you trust me…Will you ask of me believing that I love you enough that I would give it to you…Jordan I dare you to dream?”
So Super soakers ( and anyone else who is reading this blog) I’m daring you to do what God has dared me to do, and what in my heart He has dared our squad to do. I believe that this was a word for each and everyone of us… together and seperately
… …I dare you to dream, I dare you to imagine, I DARE YOU TO ASK, and better yet ASK BELIEVING.
Ask as Paul did for God to help your unbelief… ask for “Greater Things”.
Can you imagine what God, who has the power to create the world, the creativity to create the diversity of animals, and the intimacy to know the deepest disires of your heart, would do if we would just dare to ask for more… If we would just Dare to dream?…. LETS FIND OUT!
