I was asked to write about my expectations for the World Race as I get ready to leave:
Although I have many thoughts about the World Race as I get ready to leave,I, in all honesty, am working to not have many expectations. Please don’t mistake this as I have no excitement or no hopes, for I have plenty of both, but I have learned that when I have many expectations I often seem to take things into my own hands in hopes of metting my expectation……. so as I get ready to leave, my only expectation is this…
TO BE CHANGED
As I leave for the World Race my greatest desire is to be changed. I want to give God full control of my life. I want to be obedient and open to whatever God lays before me, and I hope to be changed… for HIS glory….. for HIS praise…. and for the better.
