My team and I left Macedonia almost two weeks ago. From there we travelled to Bucharest, Romania for our first squad debrief.

Debrief is a time for us to meet with our Squad Mentor, Coaches, and Leaders to see how our team dynamics are working. It’s also a time for us to hangout together as a squad and for rest. And it lasts about 5 days.

After debrief we travelled to Draganesti, Romania to begin our second month of the Race.

This month is also all squad month. Meaning that all 38 of us will be staying in the same house the entire month. A house that has only 3 showers and 2 toilets and no space to call your own except a twin size bunk.

And although we’re all living together we’re not all doing ministry together. We have worship and intercessory prayer as a squad in the morning but in the afternoon we do separate ministry as our teams.

So this month our team will be doing youth sports ministry and some kids ministry. Pretty similar to what I was doing back home.

So for the youth ministry we’ll play soccer or ping-pong and just try to build relationships with them and steer them towards a relationship with Jesus.

As for the kids ministry, I don’t know what all that entails as I haven’t been a part of that yet. We only do that Tuesdays and Saturdays for 2 hours and only half the team does it while the other half serves the youth. But I believe it’s similar to the youth, where we just play with the kids and show them the love of Christ.

I am also on the cooking committee for this month. The cooking committee is in charge of grocery shopping, meal planning, prepping and cooking for the whole squad for every meal. I’m not the most experienced in this area but I am hoping to aquire some skills this month.

And for those who want specific things to pray for, here are a few:

Good health for our squad. (A few of us are sick with various things, including myself. I’ve been wheezing, coughing and been unable to hear out of my right ear for about a week and a half. I went to the doctor today and got some meds, so hopefully those help.)

Grace and love for each other. (There will be 38 people living together the entire month, so I’m sure frustrations will come.)

For our Ministry partner, Hope Church, to be successful in all their areas of ministry. (Here is a link to their website if you want more information:http://www.hoperomania.org)

And also for our team’s ministry contacts, Alecs (in charge of the youth ministry) and Veronika (in charge of the kids ministry).

I am so thankful to all of you who have and continue to support me on this journey! You are helping me be the hands and feet of Jesus and bring the gospel to the nations! None of this would be possible without you!

I have met my 3rd financial goal of $13,000! I am currently at $13,610. So I only need another $2,657 by the end of the year to be fully funded!

God bless you all!
