Drum Roll Please!!!!!
My Launch date is….. Tuesday January 6th, 2015!!! That is the day that I will go to Atlanta GA on a one way ticket to start this amazing journey with Jesus! I will spend there about 2 or 3 days of final training before we leave to our first country! I still can not believe how real this is getting! I mean… this means that I leave in about 9 weeks!
Please keep me in your prayers so I can live in the present and prepare myself for whatever else the Lord will have for my life as this journey will soon start. I say this because I want to enjoy each day that God is allowing me to be here around my family and friends. I want to serve God with all my heart and mind at the ministries that He has given me at church. I want to share God’s love and joy among my close love ones while I’m here and I want to enjoy each moment of it since I know that once I embark on this new stage of my life I will leave everything and everyone behind and I have to trust in God that He will take care of my love ones as will not be around them next year.
Please keep the 49 other amazing members that form my Spiritual family of O squad in your prayers as they too need to prepare spiritually, mentally, physically and even financially to start this journey. These men and women are beautiful, unique and so special and dear to me! They are my family and the people whom I will be living with and doing ministry with in those 11 months of 2015. Please pray that they too can be strengthened by God to leave everything behind and follow this calling that Jesus has placed in their lives.
Let me present to you my family! O squad! 50 young men and women who are leaving everything behind to serve the least of thee around the world and to show them that there is a living God who loves them and wants to give them salvation!
