Hello Beautiful America Family!
I just wanted to send you all a quick update that we arrived safetly in the Dominican Republic this morning at about 10 a.m. Now for this next part, I¨m going to have to ask all of the motherly figures in my life to avert their eyes. (Not really, but how we got to our little homestead for the week wasn´t the best…?) After we met up with some World Race Staffers after about 15 hours of traveling and little sleep, we were directed to a long yellow school bus. A school bus that was supposed to fit 50 people and all of our luggage! Let´s just say that a picture replaces a 1,000 words and we were pushed in this bus like sardines traveling through the bustling streets of Santo Domingo, DR.
We traveled to our quaint little compound, where we will spend the rest of the week training, the off to work! I´ll let you know how that goes in a couple of days. Sorry for the short post, I´ll be more decorative with my writing when I have a little more time…
