Planning, Planning, Planning. That is all I’ve been doing. The Lord has opened so many doors to fundraising events, and I am so excited to nail down final plans for the things to come. Here are the events coming up that I’ve been working on (please be in prayer for them :))
Tuesday, February 2nd, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Percentage Night at Chick-Fil-A in Athens, GA
~The gracious managers at the Chick-fil-a on Epps Brigde in Athens, GA, are letting me host a percentage night from 5:00-8:00 p.m.! This entails people coming out and eating meals at Chick-fil-a from 5-8 and 10 percent of the sales go directly to my mission! So if you are in the Athens area, come on out and eat with us!

Valentine’s Day Jazz Concert with Classic City Jazz
UGA Chapel, Athens, GA
~I used to sing in this jazz ensemble with I was a student at UGA and my wonderful conductor invited me to sing a solo at the concert, and do a plug for my mission. This will be a great way to get the word out!

Alpha Omega Holy Water Luau
Young Harris, GA
~ When I went to Young Harris College, I was the sweetheart of the Christian fraternity called ‘Alpha Omega’. They are an incredible group of guys who truly have a heart for people. The president has agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds from this yearly Luau to my mission trip! I’ve been so blessed with their generosity and love. I am so excited about this event.

Benefit Concert in Athens, GA
~A couple of my friends have committed to perform at this really cool venue in Athens (has yet to be confirmed) some time in the spring. I am meeting with the venue’s event director next week about nailing down a date for the event and then I will get all the musicians lined up! I think this concert could be really cool and would really help me raise support and awareness about the race. I’m totally pumped.
