First of all, I would like to start out with an apology; to this person whom I am about to write about. Her name is Jennifer Lauren Fowler, and over the past couple of years, she has become one of my nearest and dearest friends. I apologize only because she will be embarrassed that I had dedicated this entire post to her and say that I should not have said those things and that all of her friends are the adjectives I am about to use to describe her. She’s just that humble. I have had the great opportunity to spend the last couple of days with her in her adorable little apartment in Athens, GA, going to see old friends and dropping in at Christmas parties.  Every time I hang out with her, she teaches me a new way to love people. She is honestly one of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. She has taught me to love and truly value every individual you meet, because each person is a unique creation of our Heavenly Father and should be treated as such.

Sometimes its hard for me to love every person I have ever met, and to remember that God created them just as He created the people that I love and adore. Someone out there feels the same way about them as I do about my family and loved ones. Jen has taught me to see the good in every person, and to value their worth here on earth, because that is what we are called to do. As I journey out to new destinations, I am going to do my best to carry this virtue with me. When we meet people who are hardened, loveless, and seem hopeless, I am going to remember how Jesus used Jen to teach me about loving people. So, thank you Jen (if you are reading this ;)), for teaching me to love people like Jesus did and how you do! Love you girl… hope you are not too embarrassed 😉
