HOLA FROM COSTA RICA!!!!!!
What can I say now that I’m here? Costa Rica is GORGOUS! Even though the location we are currently in is not the greatest conditions, the view of the village and the mountains are breathtaking. We have been extremely blessed this month right from the start. We have DRINKABLE tap water, a shower, the weather is beautiful and our hosts are awesome. Our hosts are so sweet, kind and hilarious. Being here for our first month is the greatest blessing so far. The community here is pretty cool a lot of local businesses and those are the only places worth going to for any of your needs and they are also pretty accommodating.
I ‘m sorry if this post is short and also if I do not post as much this month, we do not have wifi at our ministry this month, and the nearest place to get wifi is a 20 minute bus ride away. Which I kind of freaked out in my head about at first, but having no connection to the outside would has been pretty great even if it has only been a few days. I love and miss you all and I will try to post again as soon as available. If you could just keep my team The Mavericks in your prayers, just because everything is going great now doesn’t mean it will stay this way, the enemy could attack us spiritually at any moment and we pray that we can get through anything that comes our way together with the power of God.
Okay so now about the 40 Koreans. There is a mission group here from NY here for the week to serve on a mission trip and they are doing something at the church we are staying at for a few days. They are doing hair, nails, photos, dentistry, physicals, acupuncture, eye exams and just a ton of cool stuff. It was super random to meet them and also fun to serve along next to them.
Wish I could tell you more but its only been a few days. Our off days are Wed and Friday but who knows if I will have wifi. Miss you all and thank you for the continuous support. I have until April to reach my full $16,965 and currently I am at $10,700. Keep praying for the team and I and also for our squad, they are all over costa rica and we wont really see them until the end of the month.
