Hello!

As well as giving an update of how our final fundraiser went I would like to give a short recap of what I'm doing, what the World race is, and what I hope to gain from it, for all you new people who might not want to dig through all my past blogs in order to figure out what this is really about.

So, to start things off, My name is Jenn 🙂

I've been doing missions work since I was about 13. When I was 18 I decided to make it my own and began going on trips with Adventures In Missions. This includes 2 months in Nicaragua, 4 in Swaziland, and 1 in Uganda.

Ever since I first heard about the World Race I have had a deep desire to do it. So what is it? The World Race is an 11 month missions trip which goes through 11 different countries. The countries I will be going to are Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Romania, Ukraine, Swaziland, Malawi, and Mozambique. Our goal in each country is to partner with different ministries and pastors meeting them where they are and coming along side them to help with whatever need they might have in that moment. This mean we won't have a set schedule of what we are doing, but that we are open and waiting for the will and prompting from the Lord. Which is awesome 🙂

I am hoping to gain more knowledge about the world and it's issues, different ministries and how they are run, and, on a personal level,  how to love more deeply the people around me.

Now, as for the fundraiser, it was a great success! A BIG thank you to all who donated, helped, or attended!

We managed to raise an additional $3000 towards my goal of about $16,000 which leaves us with just a $2,500 gap to fill!!!!

God is good!

Please, please, please subscribe to my blog to receive e-mail updates whenever I update on here! You all have been such a significant part of my journey already but it doesn't need to stop here!

Thank you all so much!!!
