I have been very inspired by my surroundings here in Sombor, Serbia. The authenticity of the old buildings and all the people walking down beautiful Main Street is a visual masterpiece to me. Many people here seem to have an appreciation of art and I thought it would be a unique way to build relationships with women by forming an art club of some sort. It would be a place where we could come together and drink coffee, chit chat and create.
God created too. The first verse in the Bible says that, "In the beginning, God created…." He made us in His image and I believe a unique way to worship Him is through being creative. So for our first Art Club we did a project called Iris Folding. Most of the women only spoke Serbian, so it was fun sharing my heart and then directions through translation.
I encouraged them when creating to add your soul to the project:) And they did.
