February 14th – My mother
February 17th – My niece, Kierstyn
February 19th – My sister, Christina
It's the week I usually take off as a vacation to eat cake and a lot of it. If I wasn't in Albania, I know exaclty where I would be right now. But God has me here in a room above a Nazarene church in a small village in Albania. God has been challenging me in incredible ways in Albania and stretching to a point that it almost hurts and showing me how His strength is made perfect in my weakness.
In my absence, I have no packages in pretty bows to give from over the Atlantic, so I have chosen to share something with you.
The last time I did this, I was 16. And it was for a class. I wasn't very good either, but I have found a new way to worship God and I wonder if you knew this all along. Because in my pourings over the sketches of the dear people I've met these past 6 months, I have experienced God in a new way and I want to share with you because I knew it would matter to you and you would be pleased.
I love and miss you dearly. There is no sketchbook big enough to contain all the praise I have to God for you all in my life.

ps – Pretty sure your cards aren't making it for you birthdays. Sad! Also, I'm still working on Cambodia and Malaysia – so come back later:)
I was inspired by my Canadian friend, Kyna, in Japan to do this. She helped me to overcome my fears of playing piano in church and then this too. I'm grateful for her urging me.
