Hello Kid's Creek!
I'm in Serbia! Maybe you are wondering where on Earth is Serbia.
There it is in eastern Europe. The month has come to an end and we were able to do an English club, an art club and work with International Royal Rangers.
Have you ever heard of Royal Rangers? It is a ministry for kids that features indoor and outdoor activities including camping, recreation, first aid, crafts, hobby skills, nature study, sports achievements, awards, trips, Bible study and much more.
You can find Royal Rangers in 86 nations of the world! When I was in Albania last month, many of the friends I made had started coming to the church because of Royal Rangers. And now this month, we got to be a part of how God uses Royal Rangers to bring children to Jesus.
One weekend we took the kids out on an adventure to live in the wild. The kids built a shelter, made fire and all their own meals. And then of course came back to the church and made more fires and homemade spaghetti over our fire and spent some time talking about Jesus outside. Then it was lights out as we had a sleepover in the church.
It was a lot of fun. The kids only knew how to speak Serbian, but we had a great time loving each other and playing together even though we couldn't understand each other's languages.
Please pray for the Royal Rangers in Serbia and Albania and that more children will come to know Jesus through fun programs like these.
