All the ways we did church above ground in China

I invited people I met and prayed with while walking in China to come with me to church.

I prayed with people in China right on the streets of Harbin.

I swapped favorite verses from my Bible on the corner with a man writing verses for money.

We were encouraged by the pastor to tell people right away that we were working with the church.

Our team was stopped by a group of women on the streets to come into their home.

I was invited by a Buddhist English teacher to speak to her students about my ministry and how God has changed my life.

We sang hymns with a group of Christian women in the middle of their apartments.

I read my Bible in several coffee shops.

We were told by the pastor to be like Paul and be bold in sharing our faith with anyone we meet.

We danced with over 100 students and told them why Jesus died for them.

We were interviewed on a school to an English club about what it means to be a missionary.

While there are many ways that churches, pastors and Christians are careful and use wisdom in sharing the Gospel, the ways that our missionaries are so bold far outweigh how we perceive the church to be in China.

In fact, if you do a search for Jake Taube on the internet, you will find that he is the only missionary that shows up. It is because of his approach to the Gospel in China.

It has also been made aware to me that most people have no religion in China. People that I've shared my faith with have generally heard it from me for the first time.
