So here it goes. I’m urging myself to lighten up because I’m inspired by my sister. I’ll keep it short since I’ve had so little practice.
Today God blessed me. He took my $500 and multiplied it times three. I love when He does my math for me. While I began counting money that I have raised through Threads of Hope and some monetary gifts over the past couple of months, I had $500 to deposit today. Great, I’ll break even. Too bad I was just about to be out $500 from my car accident 2 weeks ago. That is until the insurance company called and told me the deductible was going to be waived. Then I looked up my online AIM account. I had $500 in donations that I didn’t even know about. God did all my math for me in a half hour and that’s a lot of joy for one half hour! Praise God! The supplier of all our needs and the supplier of my joy!
I’ve been needing to do this for quite some time. I think I think too much. I need to relax from all my thinking, pondering, wishing, wondering, meditating, speculating and inquiring. Sometimes it’s just time to Get Joy and be done with it!
