There haven't been many blog posts lately, but here is a video update from the past few weeks. Just a quick summary of our ministry…the team has been preaching on Sundays, leading Bible study on Wednesdays, doing village evangelism, going on prayer walks, encouraging church members and neighbors and sharing Christ all over Kigali in whatever way we can.
I realize this is only a tiny bit of what goes on here but there are ministry settings where it's inappropriate to take pictures, as well as places in town where there's no way I'm taking my camera out for fear that it may not come home with me. Glad you can get a small picture anyway.
Here are a few things you can pray for:
– The country of Rwanda – only 18 years ago a genocide occurred killing 1,000,000 people in only 100 days. The country is still healing in many ways.
– Pastor Robert as he leads his church plant (3 years old) across the valley.
– Our team – this month has been challenging for all of us for different reasons. Pray for us in this last week and as we leave for Uganda on Friday night.
-Our squad – several people have gone home due to homesickness, family issues or lack of funding. Please pray for them as they transition to life back home. Pray also for our endurance as we still have 5 months left.
Thank you for your prayers and for keeping up with the journey. Have a fantastic week as you live for Christ wherever you are!
