Hey Team!!!
Great job this last week on getting your passports in for us! There are still a
few of you who have not sent in your passport information. We have reserved
plane tickets using your name, but until we have your passport information, you
don’t get a ticket! So be sure you get in touch with us asap so we can finish
up that process.
So let me line out a few upcoming goals for you so we can continue moving ahead
with plans…
Priority #1: Passports. If you
haven’t done it, do it now.
Priority #2:
Insurance. If you haven’t purchased your international travelers insurance, do
so now. We recommend http://www.gninsurance.com/aimtripinsurance/. Once you
purchase that, you’ll receive confirmation with an insurance card you can
upload to your profile. We need that insurance purchased and on your profile
page by Friday, April 16.
Priority #3: Next
week we will be sending out your travel details. We are arranging all the
logistics for where you are flying in, where we are meeting, and when we are
flying out. You can expect those details to be posted here next week. Once that
information is posted, you will need to arrange your travel to the meeting
location. After that is arranged you’ll need to post it on your profile. This
will be due Friday, April 23.
Priority #4:
Medical information. If you haven’t read it yet, check out this
article. We are asking that each of you seek medical attention and make
your personal decision about vaccinations and disease prevention. It is your personal
choice what you do and do not want to pursue, but you must let us know that you
have sought advice and made your decision. Then you must upload information to
your Mobilization tab under the Documents section. This is due by Friday, April 30.
Priority #5:
Support. Your first support raising goal has recently passed. We asked that you
would shoot for having $1000 by April 1st. If you have not reached
that goal yet, it’s okay. Deep breath… keep working toward that goal. However,
your next goal is quickly approaching: $1500
by May 1. Between now and May 1st if you are struggling to meet
the $1500 goal, please call me. I am here to help encourage you and provide advice
based on past experiences on how to reach that goal. If by May 1 you
do not have $1500 you will be required to call me. Please know that calling me
is not a scary thing – I’m not going to yell or scream or anything… My goal is
to encourage and help you. So please don’t hesitate to call!
Please be as proactive as possible in getting everything
ready for your trip. Don’t ever hesitate to call and ask questions about
anything… We are here to help!
