Who
runs this thing?
The World Race Relief program is run by a team of dedicated AIM
missionaries who are passionate about launching you into what God has
planned for you through your participation in the program.
Who do
we ask?
First of all, don’t ever hesitate to ask a question. At any point in
the process of becoming a team member, you can call our Admissions
department at the following number: 877-811-2461.
As you
get deeper into the process, we may begin to refer you to other people
besides the Admissions team, calling the Admissions department is a good
place to start.
Once
you are out on the field, your first point of contact will be your team
leader.
How is
money spent on the field?
While you are on the field your team leader will handle the team
finances. In some cases all of the funds necessary for the trip will be
provided to this person in cash. In other cases, they will have a
debit card they can use to access team funds. Either way, AIM will
provide the funds necessary to pay for food, lodging, transportation,
and other ground expenses. Your team will have a budget and will be
expected to operate within that budget. As you move through the trip,
you will use the funds provided to pay for team expenses.
What
is your stance on alcohol and smoking?
There’s a lot to be said about this and many sincere believers come down
in different places with regard to these two issues. For the purposes
of your time ministering with AIM you’ll have to submit to the rules
governing the program you’re signing up for. The rule is of age
according to American law, self-governance, never at a host home or
ministry location, and submit to the culture and authorities. The
policies in place may run up against what you consider to be your rights
or your ability to exercise your freedom. In response to that we need
to say that you have the right and freedom to submit to the authority of
AIM and the authority of the host ministries you’ll be working with.
Your willingness to submit to the policies is necessary in order to
protect the reputation of AIM and the reputation and witness of our host
ministries.

take a trip back home for _________?
