Why? “The goal of this trip is to bring you and your family together, to join in ministry, and to talk about what God has been doing. We believe that when both you and your parents are open to it, God can do amazing things inter-generationally. There may be some laughter. There may be some tears. There may even be some hard conversations. But the Race is helping you step into your identity in Christ and we believe that your experience can minister to your family in addition to transforming you. “
My brother, Mussie, lives in Kenya. It will be exactly 12 years since I had seen him the last time. Mere words couldn’t express my feelings at this moment. This is definitely God’s calculation as to why the family Vision Trip happens to be in Kenya, and not in the other 10 countries on my journey.
Humbly, I’m inviting you to share in this ministry and would like to ask your help for Mussie’s fundraising. He needs 775 USD to be part of that special week at the end of August. The deadline for the full balance will be on July 15, 2013.
