Greetings from Sistarovat, Romania!

For the month of June, my team and another team had made our home in a summer camp located in Sistarovat, a small village that has about 250 people. At the summer camp, we had different tasks to do to get it ready for the children coming in July ( next week actually).

Ministry tasks included:

-Continuous mowing and raking of the endless grass field on the property.

-gardening

-cleaning the dorms

-helping in the kitchen

-painting

-organizing items

-digging trenches

– and more—

Yes, manual labor all month. For the most part, I?m ok with manual labor.  I?m up for any kind of ministry work we get to do usually.

Well, not last Friday. Raking hay all day under the blazing sun was almost unbearable. I was HOT, my previously injured back was hurting, and my physical body was just complaining. That afternoon, I wanted to stop, and call it a day by 2PM. I had to remind myself the purpose of my mission and why I had abandoned everything and everyone at home to be on this journey. It was the worst afternoon on the race, hands down!

But the word ?perseverance? kept knocking on my heart. Mainy from this verse:

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love." 2 Peter 1:5-7

Though my energy was zapped out of my system, I continued to rake one minute at a time. Didn?t want to leave my friends out on the field.

Thank you God; because of Him, we are on the last week of month six of our Kingdom Journeys in six different countries.

On Monday, we will fly out of Europe to spend three months, in three African countries!

Month of July in Kenya. See what God has for us over there.

Thank you all for keeping me in your thought and prayers.

God bless you and be with you.
