Training Camp……how do you put it into words?
I don’t even know where to start when trying to explain what took place at training camp last week because so much happened, it is difficult to describe.
God works differently in each racer’s heart during camp. One thing is for sure though – He shows up and it is powerful!!
As my squad (F squad) convened with three other squads in north Georgia, seven days of living in community commenced.
Apart from the incredible sessions and spirit filled brothers and sisters who I had the honor of getting to know, it was a wild ride of camp out nights, learning cultural customs, eating ethnic food (sometimes with just our hands), constant prayer, amazing worship, team formations, Squad Wars, jumping in the lake at midnight to avoid the long shower lines (150+ girls and 4 showers! Lol), dance offs, tears, sweat, more prayer, laughing…..living in the joy and presence of the Father.
It was incredible and I loved every part of it!!
More than anything, training camp stirred me to be expectant and soo excited for the things God is going to do in me and in His Kingdom this year!!
F Squad….the (F)amily I will be doing ministry with!!!
Please be in prayer for my squad as we have a few more weeks before Launch and are continuing to prepare our hearts and minds for His glory!
