This is a strikingly accurate description of my family.
To get to know me a bit better, you have to know a little about my family because they are such a huge part of who I am!
I thought it would be fun to introduce my family in order and explain some of the ways they have shaped me to be the person I am today.

Houston…aka Hollywood! I don’t necessarily remember how he got that nickname but it is one of many!
Being the youngest of the Gordon clan, we pick on our youngest bro unmercifully…because of course he is the most spoiled! 😉 lol
In reality, I do not know what I would do without this amazing man of God in my life!
We’ve been buddies for as long as I can remember!
Age doesn’t matter when you have a common love for something.
As it turns out, we have a common love for many things…
…which has always made us really close over the years.
No one laughs at me the way Houston does!
He makes me feel like I can be myself…every aspect of myself!
There’s just something about being around Houston (and Andrew!) that draws out the goofy, crazy, eccentric side of me….maybe it’s how confident they are in their own skin! 😛
They say younger siblings look up to the older ones…
…but I cannot express how much I look up to this little brother of mine!
He is full of so much wisdom, it astounds me sometimes!
I actually go to him for advice more often than not, knowing he will speak the truth in love to me and give me a different perspective on things.
Not only is he chivalrous, loving and knows how to treat a girl…
…but he has fortitude and strength of character.
He is a seeker of truth and one of the most observant people I know!
Not to mention, he is amazing with kids!! No joke…he’s a kid magnet!
People usually take Houston’s strength for granted – until they get to know him. Being the youngest and putting up with three older brothers, he’s actually ‘tougher than a box of rocks’!
He has a compassionate heart and is an incredible listener!
He makes life fun…and dancing even more fun (Mr. Suave alert!! Which actually goes for all the Gordon boys when it comes to dancing! 😉
No one gives me as many compliments as Houston does!! He has shown me what it means to edify and build one another up through words of affirmation!
At the same time, he’s not afraid to call me out when I’m being ridiculous!
He’s always been there for me, sharing in my joys and difficulties.
When it comes down to it, I don’t know what else to say but how blessed I am to have this super special, fantastically fun, ridiculously remarkable younger brother as MY little bro!! I seriously love you pard! 😉
I realize I am not deserving of such a wonderful family…in the same way, I am not deserving of such a loving and gracious God…yet He continues to pour out His goodness in more ways than one!
All I can do is thank Him from the bottom of my heart and sing His praises for placing such incredible people in my life who I have the privilege of calling family!
I am blessed beyond measure!
