This is a strikingly accurate description of my family.
To get to know me a bit better, you have to know a little about my family because they are such a huge part of who I am!
I thought it would be fun to introduce my family in order and explain some of the ways they have shaped me to be the person I am today.

Meet my brother, Paige Gordon II and sister-in-law, Kim…aka Kimpossible! 🙂
These two quite literally fill my heart to overflowing!!!
Here’s the story:
Once upon a time there was a little girl who had a little brother…
…they grew up as buddies – playing cowboys and indians all the time! The little brother was always the protector.
The older they grew, the closer they became…very often, they could be found in the middle of an adventure together.
It wasn’t long before the little brother became the “BIG/little brother”.
He grew in strength and wisdom…becoming a man after God’s heart.
Then one day, after a mission trip to Jamaica…
…another girl entered the picture!!
Now it was the brother who needed protecting!
The sister thought, a girl needed to be someone VERY special to be acceptable for a brother of such character and fortitude.
As time passed, the sister realized this girl was special…she was a loving, smart, passionate woman of God who was beautiful both on the inside and out! The sister grew to love her as much as she did her own brother.
Thus, under the grace of a good and loving God…
…the two became one!!!
So that’s the story…which is really just the beginning. The story of my big/little bro and his beautiful bride!

From the very beginning, Kim fit right in with the family – proving she could keep up with all the Gordon escapades!
She passed every ‘test’ with flying colors, not only with style and grace, but also with a genuine smile on her face.
She exhibited her love and commitment to Paige as well as her desire to live life to the full.
When we realized she could keep up with the “Gordon girl shenanigans” in every capacity…
…she became a true sister!!
I absolutely adore this girl!
I’ve learned the importance of listening and communication through these two…even when it comes down to being “brutally honest”. 😉
They challenge me in more ways than one to be the best I can be.
They constantly keep me laughing and always bring a smile to my face!! (Note – Paige is not normally seen in funky, baby blue sunglasses, but for the sake of having fun with his wife, he is just that cool!)
Whenever I need wise advice, a listening ear, a bear hug, an honest opinion, a place to chill, someone to tell me the truth in love, someone to eat ice cream at midnight with, someone to make me laugh, and someone to help me see God in a new perspective…
…I go to Paige and Kim’s!!
Because they bring a special light and joy to my life.
They are truly a rock for me and an example I look up to! I love you two to pieces!
On second thought, I love you three to pieces!!! 😉
