i’m assuming most people at some point in their life have done something like a treasure hunt where you’re given a list of items and then in a team, you must work to find every item on the page.

Well recently, we have been playing a similar game.

G-d told me we needed to go on a treasure hunt in ministry. i told the girls what the L-rd had been pressing on my heart and then explained the idea of how it works to our translators.
i said, “For example, last night as i was praying about this, i saw a girl in a red shirt or it was a red scarf. i couldn’t quite tell.”
All of the sudden Andrea gets really happy and says, “Oh my gosh, i got almost the same thing, but i saw a girl in a red sweater!”
And then Peggy speaks up and says, “Me too! i got some sort of red shirt.” i looked at everyone and said with a smile, “Exactly.”  

The reason it worked out like that is because we are operating in the Spirit and because the Spirit is in each of us and we were listening to His voice, He shared a similar vision to not only confirm, but reconfirm this was someone He really wanted us to speak with.
Treasure hunting is one of the neatest ways to do evangelism because it is relying fully on G-d and His guidance to go where He wants you to go. The biggest part of this adventure is waiting on the voice of the L-rd through pictures, visions, words, &/or an audible voice.

We sat.
We prayed.
& We waited.

As we listened for G-d to show/tell us something, each of us started to get a different word from the L-rd.

Things like purple flowers, a water thing, a clothes line, someone crippled, a vision of the inside of a home, and several other items. As we began our venture out and prayed for the L-rd to guide us we eventually found almost everything the L-rd had given us that morning.

How amazing is it that the L-rd will show you something like this to simply guide you to a person who needs it.
All He needs is someone willing to listen.

One of the last people we came across was an older woman who asked us to come pray for her children. We saw that she had a pretty bad limp in her right leg and as she walked, she was practically bent over, holding her lower back in pain. After she told us about her children and what they needed prayer for we asked if there was anything she specifically wanted prayer for. She replied with, “Well yes, my back is in excruciating pain. I can hardly walk and a lot of times, after long periods of sitting down I lose all circulation in my legs and it’s like they are paralyzed.”
i smiled and said, “Jesus told me about you. He told me we were going to find someone paralyzed today and they were going to be healed.”
A huge smile comes to her face and she says, “Thats me!!”

We all smiled and said, “Yeah! Lets pray!” We gathered around this 66 year old woman and began to proclaim Heaven on earth & the healing power of Jesus Christ upon her entire body.

We finish, she stands up and its like she was in shock. She begins to move back and forth with her back, no pain! i asked her to bend over, no pain! i said, “How about we just make extra sure there is no more pain and try to jog a little bit outside.” She agrees and heads outside. She starts to jog around, doing high knee exercises, and tells us all pain is completely gone and how excited she is to get back to work!

WOW! This 66 year old woman is completely healed from being crippled and in pain!
We serve a mighty G-d who has been doing radical miracles almost every day through our time in door to door evangelism and in the hospital ministry.
Thank you Jesus for being who you say you are!
