Time.

Plans.
Life.
Do you remember the story when Jesus stops to eat with Mary & Martha?
Martha stays busy. She cooks, cleans, moving from here to there to prepare. Living [urgently] in something she thinks is important.
Mary on the other hand decides to sit at the feet of her Beloved. Mary focuses in on the [important]; spending time with her Savior.
[Luke 10:38-42]
In the beginning, it appeared to Martha what she was doing was the “right” thing to do, but we come to read how really, her focus was not in line with Jesus.
Are you living in the Urgent or in the Important?
We can get so focused on what we have to do, where we have to go, the tasks that need to get finished or started & we can completely forget what is important;
SEEKING JESUS.
Surrendering our lives at His feet.
He is life.
He is peace.
Ultimately, He is & has everything we need.
“Do not be in a hurry to leave the king’s presence.
Do not stand up for a bad cause, for he will do whatever he pleases. Since a king’s word is supreme, who can say to him, “What are you doing?”
Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm, and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure.
For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery.”
[Eccl. 8:4-6]
i am in the midst of men & women that are completely giving their life, their time, their money to the cause of Christ. It has radically challenged my devotion to Jesus. These people do not just go to church on Sunday’s & call it a week. It is a lifestyle.
What kind of lifestyle are you living?
What are you devoted to? What is important to you? Is it satisfying?
Jesus is the ultimate satisfaction.
When we give Him everything, He returns everything a hundredfold.

He is a G-d of increase & multiplication. He is the giver of life in increasing fullness.
“Sow for yourselves righteousness;
reap steadfast love;
break up your fallow ground,
for it is the time to seek the LORD,
that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.”
[Hosea 10:12]
i have been hearing people’s stories of healing & restoration. i serve a G-d that not only gives life, but COMPLETELY RESTORES LIFE.
Drug addictions – BROKEN. Healed. Restored.
Families shattered – Rebuilt. Restored. Healed.
Addicted to alcohol – Addictions gone. Peace. Satisfied.
The cost of complete discipleship, full surrender is letting go and handing your life over to the hands of your Creator.
“Immediately they left their nets & followed Him.”
[Mark 1:18 & 20]
And with this comes – RESTORATION. Life. Fullness in the very One that created you.
Remember today – Urgent. vs. Important.
Seek Him FIRST & He will relay what is important.
