I’m home from The World Race Training Camp, and the only idea running through my mind is ‘This is only the Introduction.’ I met my wonderful B squad (Best squad) members who I will be traveling the world with as well as my Team Kaleo members. I went into the week a little fearful of where I would fall in the collection of personalities, and at the end of the week I wanted to be with everyone. God moved this week, in my life, in my squad, in my team, and this is only the introduction. I slept in a tent with a guy I knew for a total of 24 hours. I ate food from 4 continents…..and lost 5 lbs. I met some of the most dangerous Christians, and listened to their stories about why they were there. I carried a man on my shoulders, and led a blind man through the Cherokee National Forest (He wasn’t truly blind). I slept in a tent every night and took a minimal number of showers. I had fun. I had fun worshipping with my new friends. I had fun watching the Holy Spirit stir their hearts. I had fun in team building exercises. I learned things about others and a lot about myself. As this journey draws closer, I find myself in a state of eagerness. I find myself longing to push into new boundaries in my relationship with Christ. I no longer want to just tread and doggy-paddle in the river of His love; I want to dive down deep. As Christ redeems others, I want to baptize them in it. Matt 10:8 “…Freely you have received; freely give.”

This is the beginning of a beautiful story,

this is only the Introduction.
