I flew out on my first flight from Atlanta on January 9. Not just my first flight on this journey, my first flight ever. And now, 6 free movies, 2 free music playlists, two 10 minute intervals of sleep both interrupted by a baby, 15 total hours later, we are in Johannesburg safely. My bag was lost for a total of 30 minutes after baggage claim today. I wasn’t even worried, because I’ve been through this situation recently (See Jeff and Dena Bowman for an exaggerated account of me losing car keys). I prayed, and my bag appeared on a cart with several strollers at ‘Baggage Enquiries’ as I was about to give them my lost luggage slip. God is sovereign. that is a characteristic of Him that I’ve reminded myself through multiple situations lately.
We head to our ministry in Cape Town tomorrow! Keep praying for us.
