I haven't tamed any lions, I've never leapt from a burning building. I haven't been launched in the air from a circus cannon and I have never done a back flip off of anything. BUT, I intend to leave my home for 11 months, immerse myself in foreign cultures, traverse the globe with naught but a backpack and love society's unloved and forgotten. I don't know if that sounds daring to you, but it scares the heck out of me. Sure, I have doubts and fears, but there isn't room for much else save trust and faith that God has called me on this mission to do His work and care for His people. He has a plan when I don't.
I wanted to share a video with you that a friend of mine made with me to introduce myself and my mission. It's exciting to see and hear the word spreading of my upcoming adventure and to receive such kind words of encouragement.
