Straight out of high school, and everyone’s first question seems runs along the lines of “where are you going to college?” I used to think my only option after graduation was a four-year university, but since I’ve always had a desire to adventure and travel I figured I would go somewhere extravagant like UCLA. By the time my junior year came around I had no desire to follow the “norm” and attend a university. After giving my life to the Lord that thought became louder and louder. I decided to do the best thing in order to figure out my next steps, pray. I prayed daily for nearly five months before hearing any answers, but the Lord created many divine appointments and taught me patience and trust in those five months.

One day while sitting with a friend saying “what the heck are we supposed to do with our lives?!” she mentioned something called the World Race. I never thought anything of it and just figured it would be something similar to YWAM or a discipleship training school. Little did I know that a couple days later I would be sitting at worship night and have a desire to look further into this race. I applied the very next day, and in just 6 months I will be embarking on a journey to Guatemala, Malawi, and Thailand spreading the love of Jesus!

I’ve never been more excited about anything in my life and I know this is what God as called me to for this next year. My heart has always been in missions and reaching the unreached, but I can’t wait to see how the Lord changes me more than anything else.

I ask you to partner with me in prayer leading up to my launch in October, as well as praying for safety, divine appointments, and hearts to be opened in my 9 months of traveling and serving.
