God just blows my mind!
So, recently, I have felt a call to pray for my loved ones. In my quiet time, I prayed that God would remind my loved ones how much He loves them and pays attention to even the smallest things in their lives.
Tonight I was visiting my friend at her home. I left my trusty/handy Nalgene at her house a few weeks (and I have been drinking less water probably because of it! ). So she restored my Nalgene to me. Her roommate was cleaning and accidentally threw out one of the containers I had brought. But she gave me car stuff– a sun visor and an ice-scraper– Now, I had an ice-scraper, but it was in poor condition: it was rigged together with packing tape, and it wasn’t really doing the trick any longer. Then, as I was cleaning out the car back at my place, I found one of the gloves that had been missing, AND a container that would replace the one that was thrown out! Whaaaaaat?!
Okay, all of that to say is that God pays attention to our minute details. He also is listening when we are praying. Whoa, right?! God is attentive to our lives. VERY attentive.
And another aspect is that God loves restoring things. He is such a restorer. I was reading how he just restored a man’s eyesight this week!! He does not see us as beyond use. He does not think that if we fail that we cannot be redeemed. He Loves us so so so so much. He longs to restore us to Himself.
I feel very strongly that my challenge for this season is to “grow where you are planted.” Which is exciting/scary. Because I am not completely sure what that means… ?
And, lastly, He gives His beloved sleep. On that note, I am peacing out.
Be blessed!
