I expect to be overjoyed,
overwhelmed, and over come with gratitude for Christ’s love for ALL peoples.

I expect to be interested in
others, involved in their lives and forever intertwined with friends from around this continent and this world.

I expect to be under-rested,
under stress but ultimately under God’s careful view.

I expect to be homesick,
homeless but more and more at home in my own skin.

I expect to see miracles,
see what serving alongside my wife is like and also travel by sea.

I expect to believe in God’s
provision more, behave in a way that coincides with my belief and be amazed.

I expect to be hot and
sticky, the even-tempered member of our team and incredibly on-fire for Christ.

I expect to be known, know that
the more I know, the more I realize I don’t know and have no regrets from going
on this World Race.
