Hey everyone,
Just an update for this week. A fellow squad mate and myself had a garage sale over the weekend. I joined in last minute so I did not have allot to sell, but praise God I raised another 100.00 to put towards gear/passport. It was a good time spending a day with a squad mate and telling people about the World Race and what God has called us to. There were several great talks. A husband and wife shared about wanting to encourage there son to get involved with missions and it might be something for him to consider going on in the future.The night wrapped up with me, my brother, our hostess, our waitress, and The Holy Spirit showing up at the restaurant we ate at. That dinner is a blog in itself, look for it to follow. I do not want to reveal names just yet, but please be in prayer for our hostess, her boyfriend, our waitress, and her friend. God knows what our hostess is going through, who she is, and who her boyfriend is as well. God revealed his love for her last night in a way only He could do. Our waitress and her friend are considering going on the World Race so I pray God opens this door for them if it is His will.
I personally could use some prayer. I have read Psalm 77 twice tonight trying to fill myself with God’s goodness. I have been out of work for almost a month now and with less than a month until leaving the country for 11 months stress can be high at times. I know I am not alone in these struggles. Funds are tight and with launch getting closer fear keeps trying to come in that I will not make it. The bills keep coming and the pay checks have stopped. I know God has called me to this and He is doing incredible things through this time of preparation. I still have several things that need to be done, but with no work and little personal support, efforts to accomplish these requirements have been halted. God has faithfully provided my daily needs and I know He will not stop His unfailing love.
