Before
I get into my blog, I would like to state that I may not be posting every day,
but rather I will be writing blogs as I feel them and then mass posting. So sorry if you get bombarded with Blog
updates my fellow ninjas. This is
Africa and Net just ain’t what it used to be. Now on to the blog…..

Dmoney
here, back in the game holdin it down the same. We has finally hit the
grizz-ound and is running hard in Africa SON!!!!. It has been a fun couple of travel days, there has been a lot of
flyer miles going on and I am learning to love Travel Days. I have been working on the art of not living
messy, so when it came time to move my stuff I was amazed it went so
smoothly. Who would of known (thanks
mom) Now if I can only take that trait
back with me to the states.

From
Ireland we flew to Istanbul Turkey, this flight was amazing I got to watch
movies relax enjoy free beverages and enjoy the sky scenery. The flight went smoothly from Ireland.

Funny
brief story hope you enjoy.

We
land in Istanbul and all of O Squad are getting ready to jump planes towards
Kenya. A person forgot to take
something out of their carry on bag and looks at me as the bag is going on the
roller towards inspection. “Oh snap
this is the sitchumation, I forgot to put my pocket knife in my big bag what
should I do?” I say I don’t know lets
leave this one to the lord. Not the
biggest issue in the world except we were already running late. The departure plane had been waiting for us
for like a half hour, not our fault but what -evz. So this person and I are watching the bag roll thru the
machine. At the moment the bag goes
under the scanner I look to see the reaction of the inspectors and all three of
them are staring at my neck and had their heads tilted. We make eye contact and they get spooked and
return to their jobs. As they return to
securing the Turkish airport the bag makes it way thru the inspection machine
in the nick of time without them viewing it on the scanner. Me and this mystery person look at each
other with joy, praise God and make our way on the plane. We jumped on our next back to back G-Ride to
Nairobi, Kenya. Again I enjoyed another
free brewsky, wonderful food, and watched the A team (witch was amazing BTW)
some movie with Selena Gomez and again another safe journey.

Our
flight didn’t come in till about 1am, so a lot of us were tired and sleepy, I
as usual couldn’t miss a sight so I stayed up the majority of the flight. We stayed in Nairobi for about two days with
the whole squad in a Hostel named Miliwami Backpackers. It was a pretty legit spot. As always it was fun getting to see Urrbody
in the Squad and Squad Leaders. One of
the main events that happened here at the hostel was the choosing of our new
team Name. We already had our name picked
out, this was decided at Debriefing of The Awakening ( our World Race Confrence
that took place in Dublin) Our name is
Team Wellspring. We all loved the
definition of the name and decided that it was appropriate for what we wanted
to bring to the rest of the world. So
next chapter Team Wellspring does Kenya.

So
we left Nairobi at 05:30 on the 9th and again the night before I had for what
ever reason did not sleep. I think it
was the combination of hey ur about to go deep into Africa. Me and some other folks stayed up talking
and watching movies and stayed online. Our last night of secure net. So
we jump on one bus early in the morn and then make it to a bus stop, there we
have a 3 hour delay between busses a lil cat nap in and then we jumpd
on another bus that showed up around 09:00. Our team rode for about 9 hours towards the Tanzanian border towards
Ministry. There was some good sites
along the way but “It” continued to seep in that we are really in Kenya. We had
two stops along the way and it was good to get out and just stretch ur
legs. we ended up at the border of
Kenya and Tanzania in Isibania. The
roads were made of dirt the buildings old and sun beat but it was like I was
home.   The kids look so happy to see us
and the adults were talkative. The kids
run around and in a funny accent say “Muzungu!!!! (muzungu mean westerner or
white man or hey you gots money) How ARE You? It still tickles me when I hear this. Our contacts is an amazing man who was eager to get us home and
rest. We talked a bit about what this
new community would look like, a lil Q&A and just time together to get to
know each other. Day 2 we went around
walking the town just seeing some sites
and running some errands with Pastor Abraham. He and his wife just had a kid 5 days ago and Victor the new born is
having some troubles so is in the hospital with mom. We prayed over young victor a bit and just had the chance to be
with them. Seeing his Faith is a site
to see let alone be around. We walked
together and had a great talk about How God can take you on a crazy Ride in
life. Sorta like God has this marvolus
etch and sketch and every now and then we get control of the knobs and go buck
wild with em. And HE is there to give
us a lil shake and make the lines right again. For now I am having an amazing time. Team Wellspring is here to bring
the floods.
