I have had lots of people ask questions, voice concerns about how we are going to raise all the money. I understand completely where these questions are coming from. I know that people are concerned because they love us and don’t want to see us fail. When I have been faced with these questions my first reactions are worry and doubt. Trust me this was my first concern when we started researching The World Race. $32,534 is A LOT of money. But after lots of praying and going back and forth we felt this was exactly what we are being called to do for this season in our life. After the initial anxiety wore off we slowly started trusting that God would work this out. Then we get pelted with questions again and once again I start questioning is this really what we are suppose to be doing?! Is this really the right decision?! Once again I stumble into worry and not trusting God 100%. I am constantly reminded about the passage on anxiety Matthew 6:25-34. verse 33 says But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be provided for you. I have read and reread this passage a thousand times. If we are moving forward with God’s will for our life then we shouldn’t worry about anything. God WILL PROVIDE!! I have to be reminded of this daily because my human nature falls back into the worry and anxiety but I know God will provide.
“Come follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” IMMEDIATELY they left their nets and followed Him. Matthew 4:19
This passage is amazing to me because Simon and Peter immediately stopped what they were doing to follow Jesus no questions asked. They didn’t stop and ask are you sure thats what you want? They went and did what they were told. Daniel and I are doing that also. We are being told to GO and thats what we are going to do.

As you see we don’t have to be fully funded when we leave in September but that is our goal. We want to be able to leave and our focus be completely on what we are being called to do.
