Hey everyone,
Sorry I have been unable to post anything these last few weeks. I’ve been very busy with our new ministry. I have been living with 13 boys, not including the ones on my team, who are from the street and now live in a boys home. They are between the ages of 15-18 years old. These boys are so amazing. They’re amazing at basketball (compared to all of us), they are so silly, and don’t forget crazy in love with Jesus. It’s the coolest thing to be surrounded by guys around my age who so desperately desire to know their father more.
But before I talk more about these boys I want to let you know that I’m in a really good place with my father right now; unlike those days I told you about in my last blog post. I am spiritually healthy. I am getting my daily dose of the Holy Ghost and I’m trying my best to be Jesus to these boys every single day. It is physically exhausting, but I’ve been relying on the lord to give me my strength. Soon we’ll be journeying 12 hours away to do outreach ministry in the most southeast region of the main island in the Philippines. I am so excited to meet the pastor and volunteers there. We will be bringing school supplies down for the kids and backpacks as well. A few of the older boys will be joining us, but only like 3. I have gotten very close with almost all the boy who live at ChildrensGardens and I will be posting photos of them and the outreach programs that we have been apart of these last two weeks.
