So Today is October 9th, 2015
It’s 9:46 pm is San Salvador, El Salvador. It is 82 degrees fahrenheit in our room.
From 10-3:30 I was helping out at this Orphanage, they were celebrating the Day of the Child. It was spectacular! 500 Kids from 5 different Orphanages showed up to laugh, eat, play games, dance, and celebrate what it means to be a kid. It was such a rewarding day for them and for me. I go to this Orphanage about 3 times a week and work with the kids ages 7-12. They are full of energy and they all call me King Kong because I am really tall and occasionally I will pick them up by there ankles. I honestly love spending my time with them. They are quick to laugh and very slow to cry, especially Luis, the smallest but oldest of all the niños I get to spend time with. He is probably my favorite out of all of them. He is always laughing but if you bother him, he will probably just stick his tung out and smile.
But back to the fiesta. Here is a little video that sums it all up 🙂 enjoy!
PS love you mom and mckenna.
Oh, and I need a new pair of nikes really bad. No Joke 🙂 hahaha help me out
