Swiiiishhh!! (or whatever sound a rushing wind makes) What a quick week it has been! I have done so many random things and walked thru so many doors. It’s almost like I have lived 10 lives in 9 days! What a whirl!

To start, my job hunt is not going as swimmingly as I’d hoped. I have applied to so many places but I don’t seem to be applying to the right ones! I have a few more leads to follow and I need some prayers to get my work on! I want to work!
Next on the agenda: moving my mileage per day from 3 to 4.5. I discovered the faulty elliptical machine that allows me some extra time. I have been shelling out some serious movement and it feels so good! I am sleeping like a baby and feeling like a champ! Thank the Lord for human endurance and vitamin water.
In super cool Brevard world I finally got to see several of my friends’ senior art show. All of the final work was a great reflection on each of their personal journeys throughout the past four years in B-town. I really enjoyed visiting with all my old cronies and checking out what they have been busting their chops on. I was truly impressed at all that has been done!
After a destination wedding and a nice honeymoon, my friend Lauren and her new husband Bradley returned for their grand reception at Bentley’s on 27 in uptown Charlotte. In true Bradshaw (her maiden name) fashion, her parents pulled out all the stops for the most fantastic wedding reception I’ve ever seen! I had an absolute ball with everyone and I was so happy to see Lauren and her huge smile. It was a great time and they make a fantastic new couple.
I have also started spending some quality time with my small group from church. Our group leader hosted a great barbeque/game night at her house and it was a lot of fun! Lap dogs, vegetable skewers, cranium wow! and jellybean personalities fit the bill perfectly. All of the girls were really nice to be around and I am looking forward to the next get-together.
Most importantly, I am pleased to announce that 1 week and 3 days after sending out my letters I am already over $1,000 in my support account! God has truly blessed me with so many believers to contact throughout the world! I am so grateful to have such an outreach in such a short amount of time! Wahoo!
This week was full of so much joy and a little frustration. I am happy to see the progress and promise in the lives of so many around me. I am frustrated about my chronic unemployment but grateful to have a roof over my head. I ask that you continue to pray for me in all aspects of life. I thank you for your donations and I thank you for your prayers. I will continue to pray for all y’all!
Until next time!
