hello again!
This week has been going really well! Each day brings some interesting changes and I am happy to receive them.
I finally got to see CCS fellow ’06 alumna Stephen Curry play basketball live! My dad surprised me with 3rd row seats behind the Bobcats players and behind MICHAEL JORDAN! What a great belated graduation gift! I ran into a lot of fellow Charlotte Christian Knights and I was very glad to see so many familiar faces. Stephen had a great game and I was so proud to see him doing so well!
I am also pleased to report that my envelope addressing and letter preparation is coming to a close. I have personally addressed close to 600 envelopes and so far no paper cuts. Thanks to pandora music player and a lot of pre-sitting stretching I am really getting down to business! God has blessed me with so many believers to contact and I am anxious to see the responses!
The project of the week, however, is to record and distribute a video for my fundraising. I finally got my hands on a flip video camera (part 2 of my graduation present). The camera is proving to be as fun as expected and hopefully the project will be completed. I should have the video ready within the week and I will happily distribute it for your viewing pleasure!
I finally met with my community group of 20 something women from Elevation Church and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The girls are all very cool and fun to be around. I am enjoying being the youngest one for a change and I am ready for future meetings.
The highlight, however, was my FINALLY GETTING A JOB! I got a call back from Massage Envy and I hopefully start training at the end of this week! I am suuuupperrr excited to finally start earning some money in the working world. Thanks again to everyone who has been praying for me to get my act together!
