Geez Louise!

I have been oot and aboot (hooray Canada) doing all sorts of WR prep today. My word, what a hot mess! Hold your anxious horses for the gist in just a few paragraphs.

As recommended by a previous World Racer, I am training myself to drink coffee/caffeine. I am not really supposed to drink it due to ADD but I decided to give it a whirl. I currently feel (I only drank two cups) like I could jump out of my own skin. This stuff is worse than adderall! I have been moving 100 miles a minute and I don’t think I’m going to get any sleep. Hopefully I can get used to this feeling of cuckooness.

In “Being Fat Stinks” updates, I am still going strong on getting strong. I have been working out every day rather than 4 days a week and I am definitely noticing some results. I am also trying out some new yoga moves I saw in a magazine and the maneuvers are pretty interesting.

My small group has recently buddied up with other small groups from our church. I am enjoying the various mingling opportunities. Our pastor is taking the church and its many groups into very specified directions in order to reach a broader spectrum of interests and commonalities. I will write more as the movement progresses.

As for today, I was definitely surprised at how many vaccinations I am going to encounter.  Once I am thoroughly injected I am going to be one step closer to becoming invincible Wink. I have also been doing a lot of price comparisons for different camping supplies. I have officially completed my bedroom for the race and I am now working on the other essentials. The fellas at REI and a few local mom and pop shops are really a big help. I know enough to get myself by but it’s always nice to find a helping hand.

FUNDRAISING UPDATE: I am just a tiny hair away from $6,000 USD in my fundraising account. I am going to make some presentations to a few people and I will be sure to post the results.

Lastly, I attended the funeral for my cousin in-law yesterday. It was very southern, very simple and very appropriate. Please continue to pray for the Church family.

Thanks y’all!
