The race is now over, I have been home for about a week, there has been a lot of question about all that I saw and experienced so I have decided to write down my experiences from each country. In total I was able to visit 23 countries over the 11 months on three continents.
Indonesia

Hiked in beautiful green tea fields, while military training was going on.

Was a guest of honor at a gathering of 1,000 Muslims.

Prayed in a mosque with Muslims students as well as shared Jesus with them.

Met Will Hart and Philip Mantofa at a Iris conference.

Rode a dirt bike through the streets of Bali with my friends.
Thailand

Ate amazing cheap street food.

Prayer walked the red light district.

Saw the princess’s motorcade.

Was denied by India for the first visa which lead to a divine appointment.
Myanmar

Saw people accept the lord the first time they heard the gospel.

Taught a missions conference with 40 hungry Burmese missionaries.

Saw children advance the kingdom through prayer and worship.
-
Saw a sunrise over 2,000 Buddhist temples from the 9th century.
-
Drove in the crazy streets of Myanmar with a right side drive manual.

Helped start a church in the park.
India

Prayed for and saw hundreds healed.

Went to a World Cup cricket match with New Zealand vs. Bangladesh.

Saw the Taj Mahal

Went to Varanasi the oldest city in the world.

Saw bodies burned on the shore and dumped into the Ganges River.

Saw Kanchenjunga the third tallest mountain in the world from 10,000 feet.
Nepal

Hiked to remote villages were westerners had never been.

Saw a man who could barely walk, be healed which lead to the salvation of our guide Sam.

Hiked at the base of the Himalayas.

Bungee jumped.

Saw Mount Everest and all of the Himalayas from An airplane.
China

Spent three weeks with the men from my squad.

Hiked the tiger leaping gorge

Hiked Jiuzhaigou national park

Saw beautiful scenery as we took buses from town to town.

Had a wonderful God appointed meeting with a lady.

Took a 30 hour bus and 20 hour train ride to Kazakhstan.
Kyrgyzstan

Stayed in an amazing house

Saw the second largest lake in the world.

Hiked amazing mountains.

Changed people’s perspective while living out the gospel.

Did a lot of work projects to help ministries in need.
Kazakhstan

Went to Astana a city that looks like the capital from the hunger games

Traveled 58 hours on a train east to west to the Caspian Sea.

Took a 34 hour ferry across the Caspian sea.
Azerbaijan

Swam in the Caspian Sea.

Walked around the beautiful capital.
Georgia

Toured the old part of the city from the Byzantine empire.

Went to the largest Wendy’s in the world.

Did an amazing 50 mile hike with 8,000 feet of elevation gain to an alpine lake.

Swam in the Black Sea

Learned a lot about community and myself.
Armenia

Spent much needed time with the guys from my team.

Saw mount Ararat which is rumored where Noah’s ark landed.
Greece

Went to the island of Crete were Paul winters and Titus stayed to disciple a church.

Denmark

Saw family that I had not seen in 10 years.

Surprised my grandparents for their 60th wedding anniversary and my grandpa’s 85th birthday.

Made a quick trip with my brother and Kelsey to have a great lunch.

Bulgaria

Had 24 hours to explore the history of the town.

Took a 40 hour bus ride to Spain through these countries.

Hiked ten days on the El Camino as a spiritual journey to debrief the year.
