Sorry it has been so long since I have last updated you on what has been going on in my life. Life has been crazy busy for me the last three weeks. To give you an example, I was in four countries in four days at the start of the month. After Georgia we headed to Athens, Greece for a few days, we where able to sit on Mars Hill and look out over the city and upon the pantheon. Mars Hill is talked about in the Bible in Acts 17:22-31, where Paul preached to the Athenians about their Idol to an unknown God. We also took a day to head to Corinth to see the remains of Apollo’s temple and where Paul served 2,000 years ago.
Old Corinth, the pillars are the temple of Apollos.

We then headed to the island of Crete for debrief this was the same island that Paul wintered at as well as wrote the book to Titus as Titus was there disciplining the church. It was a privilege to be able to go to these biblical places and see them for myself. It made the bible come more alive to me. The bible at times seems so distant to me because it was such a long time ago and the places so far away from me in America. To be able to walk and see the old ruins from biblical times was something I will never forget.
After Crete we had four days before we had to be back in Athens before the parents came out to spend a week and serve alongside their racers. We had the perfect opportunity to hop on a ferry and spend four days in Santorini. This was a great experience riding four wheeler, snorkeling, cliff jumping, going to black and red sand beaches, hiking a volcano, riding donkeys and seeing amazing architecture and sunsets. I highly recommend going there if you have the chance.

I did not spend time in Athens with my parents as I had the opportunity to head to Denmark for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and my grandpas 85th birthday. I was able to see family that I had not seen in ten years, and it was so good to be back in Copenhagen as it is one of my favorite cities. It was great to see my parents, brother and grandparents after 8 months of being away from home. The last day there I hopped onto a train and headed to Sweden for a few hours before heading back to Denmark and going back to Athens.

This month God came through for us and we where able to go to Jordan to work in a refugee camp. This was a dream of Heather’s last month and we all got behind it. Last month everything fell through to be able to go, but we grew a lot as a team which I think was God’s plan all along. We are all super excited and expectant for God to move this month.
First night In Jordan as we worshiped during the sunset.
Please pray for us as we experience all that God has for us at the camp. We could use your prayers for strength both physically and spiritually as we come alongside syrian refugees. Pray that we would be able to connect with them through love and that God’s love would shine through us.
