To give you a ministry update… Teams have been shuffled up a bit this month for ministry. I am with a group of all women serving in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The men of the squad are ministering together in some of the Thai villages doing “manistry”. So, Noah and I are separated for a few weeks as we build relationships with not only the Thai people but with our brothers and sisters that God has placed us with this month. It’s been a great experience thus far getting to know some of the girls in the squad and the girls from team Indelible.
For our ministry this month, most of the women will be going to the bar district at night to meet with the girls there that are caught up in prostitution. The idea is to befriend these girls and show them the love of Christ. Another ministry opportunity that we will soon be starting is that of building relationships with the university students here, in Chiang Mai. We are to invite the students to a Christian hangout, called Won Generation, located close to campus where they can relax, get a milk shake, listen to some music, and chat with the Christian staff.
Please pray for both of these ministries, especially for the bar ministry. Pray for the girls serving in the bars as well as for the men, many of whom are foreigners that go to into these bars. Both groups are lost and desperately need Jesus Christ. Please also pray for the safety and protection of my sisters as they walk into these spiritually dark places. Thanks again, prayer warriors!
