One of the things that I struggle with in my daily Christian walk is the ability to share my burdens with others.  However, I’ve reached a point where I can’t carry the load on my own anymore.  Here’s my story…  I purchased a home a few years ago when the market was in better shape than is evident everywhere today.  Approximately 7 months later, God called me to take on a new job on the other side of Michigan, where I met my now-husband, Noah.  I tried to sell my home right away, but did not get any bites so I removed my house from the market thinking I would list it again when the economy improved.  It has now been over 2 years, and the economy is anything but booming.  Along with the value of the US dollar, my home is now worth quite a bit less than when I purchased it 3 years ago.  Nevertheless, I can’t wait any longer and am trying to sell it again for a depressing sum.  I am requesting that you pray for this situation.  My goal is to have the house sold and to be completely free from it before departing for the Race in January.  I am trying not to stress about the financial aspect of the deal, but it is a challenge being that Noah and I need to raise funds for the upcoming Race.  The pressure is definitely on and I sense that God is using this situation to stretch me.  For sure, there is pain in the stretching… Thanks so much!
